My Daughter's Birthday Turned Into A Heartbreaking Journey Home 🥹

What was supposed to be a simple birthday morning for our daughter turned into an emotional family journey. ❤️ We woke up early, prepared breakfast, sang happy birthday to her quietly at home, and then immediately started our journey to Nyandarua for our grandma’s burial. Along the way, we passed through Nyeri to pick up our cousins before continuing the long trip together as family. By the time we arrived, we were exhausted but thankful to have reached safely. The next day brought some beautiful village moments that made the trip memorable — I saw a cow being milked for the first time 😅, my husband took us around the shamba, and we enjoyed eating fresh fruits straight from the farm. It truly felt like a different world. Then came the emotional day as we laid our 86-year-old grandma to rest 🕊️ surrounded by love, family, memories, and togetherness. And the craziest part? I met someone I know from the YouTube streets only to find out we are actually related 😂❤️ Life can be emotional, unexpected, and beautiful all at once. Thank you for being part of our journey.
