This is The Kremling Kronology. My longterm effort to explore every game and officially-endorsed Nintendo material featuring my favorite krocodile kreatures that I possibly can. 🐊☠️ Let's take a look at how Nintendo Power navigated the waters of hype for DKC3 and other SNES games even as the N64 entered the scene. Along the way, we'll come to realize how much about the game was unknown or undecided until soon before its release, have a revelation that the name "The Northern Kremisphere" is almost never actually stated in kanon, and play along with the original K. Crocodile Isle lies at the bottom of the ocean, its survivors scattered and its Kaptain-King gone missing. In place of the neighboring island that had loomed their whole lives, the Kongs look out and see nothing. In this uncanny peace, rumors arise of unusual activity in the Northern Kremisphere, the modern world's other Kremling stronghold; a land of rich scenery and equally vibrant pollution, long held in uneasy truce between reptiles and bears after the Kremean War. The Kongs have connections there too, and when Diddy and Donkey go missing, this troubled paradise is the place Dixie thinks to look. When she gets there, she finds a different kulture of Kremlings serving a mysterious robotic ruler... and some unexpected help from her own cousin, the Kongs' youngest hero-to-be.
