筑波鉄道 筑波線・関東鉄道 竜ヶ崎線 ─ 1984/昭和59年・春 ─ 関東圏の非電化ローカル私鉄 編

Thank you for watching. Below is a video introduction from Mr. B, the filmer. This is footage of the Tsukuba Railway Tsukuba Line filmed on May 11, 1984. The filming location is around the area where the train leaves Tsuchiura and passes under the Joban Expressway, which was already open at the time. The entire line was abolished three years later in 1987. From 02:48, we see footage of the Kanto Railway Ryugasaki Line. This line connects Sanuki Station (now Ryugasakishi Station) on the Joban Line with Ryugasaki Station, and is a very historic railway that opened in 1900. The trains shown are two cars, including a Kiha 531, but the same type of 532 remains as a spare car even today. This video was shot in 1984 using a Victor GZ-S3 video camera and a portable VHS video deck. #Tsukuba Line Kiha 500 #Tsukuba Line Kiha 810 #Ryūgasaki Line Kiha 531
