Originally published in 1998, “Goin’ Home” by Toto is a gem of a song. For this cover I chose the live version played on their 2013 world tour and recorded in Poland. This is one of the greatest concerts ever: A backpack full of greatest hits rocked masterfully by the best musicians in the world who just love what they’re doing. And yet again, drummer icon Simon Phillips is the backbone of the band. One of the most gifted drummers in the world, he just knows how to make every single song even better, and easily turns a rather simple rhythm into an irresistible grove!
