DMFT Trust Council Meeting, Plans Discussed #DMFT #DMFTGhotala Silent silence on previous DMFT scam A meeting of the District Mineral Foundation Trust Committee was held at Bokaro's Town Hall. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, Chairman of the Trust. The meeting was attended by MLAs from the district, including the MP from Dhanbad and Giridih. Jharkhand Government's Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Yogendra Prasad, who was present at the meeting, questioned the entire meeting's arrangements, raising serious questions about the comments made during the meeting. Regarding the previous DMFT scam, he stated that the investigation is still ongoing, making it inappropriate to comment. Questions were also raised about MPs and MLAs' disregard for previous DMFT regulations. The Deputy Commissioner responded by stating that all works are currently being audited and investigated, and that the final report will be submitted to the government for action only after the completion of the report. The meeting also discussed the plans recommended by the MLAs, to which the Deputy Commissioner stated that detailed information would be provided within the next 15 days. The village government i.e. the head of the Panchayats was certainly called in the meeting but neither their views were heard nor their problems were discussed.
