NEW Viral Bounce Curl Brush! Does it work on 3c/4a, low porosity hair?

I wanted the viral bounce curl brush to work so badly for me. For reference, I have 3c/4a curls, low porosity hair that is medium density and medium-coarse in texture. I don't know if it's my hair, the products I used, or the brush but these results were not what I expected. I don't really think it's the products because I've used both The Doux 808 Gel and The Doux Mousse Def before and have had great results.
