Easy Crochet Clutch-Faux Macrame!

This clutch was inspired by a macramé clutch I saw on Pinterest. I have been trying to mimic macramé knots with crochet stitches for a while now, and I think I got pretty close with this one! It is a chic way to carry your necessities and a lot easier to make than it looks. I lined it with a zippered canvas bag to complete the look and make it more functional. Could also use 8 mm, but 10 mm is optimal) -1 15 mm wooden bead (Optional. For tassel) -160-175 yards of Bernat Home Maker Dec yarn (good substitutes are Lion Brand Rewind Tape yarn or double strands of Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend held together) -Size H 5.0 mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge -Clear nylon thread and a regular sewing needle -Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure, 2 stitch markers, piece of cardboard 3.5” wide Gauge: 14 hdc and 8 rows = 4”. Gauge instructions: Row 1: Ch 15, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each st across. [14 hdc] Rows 2-8: Ch 2 (beg ch counts as a st), hdc in next st and in each st across.
