Our journey in search of the benefits of agricultural biogas plants this time took us to the picturesque village of Grzmiąca, located near Szczecinek in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Here, as in Boleszyn and Konopnica, an agricultural biogas plant has been operating for ten years. The installation presented here belongs to the Eko-Energia Grzmiąca company and has an electrical capacity of 1.6 MW. It plays an important role in the life of the local community and provides tangible benefits to local residents. The agricultural biogas plant in Grzmiąca was established in 2011. The main purpose of this plant is to generate electricity and heat. An additional benefit of the production process is the production of digestate, which is a valuable fertilizer used by farmers to fertilize their fields.
