DISTRIBUTION OF $85,000 GRANT FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN GETS UNDERWAY

The distribution of the ‘Because We Care’ cash grant for schoolchildren all across the country got underway on Monday. This year, each child will receive $85,000 — the $60,000 Because We Care grant, a $5,000 uniform grant and the new $20,000 transportation grant. The disbursement will continue throughout this week.
