JTS3 Ep 11 - Overlanding South Africa: Sun of a Beach - KZN South Coast & Trekking into the Transkei

After two hard weeks on the road and camping hard, we were really looking forward to our two night 'creature comfort' break at The Beach House in Clansthal on the KZN South Coast. But it turned into four... Yep, the running repairs we needed to do on our BunduWarrior meant amending our schedule and pushing back our trip into the Transkei. What can you do but enjoy all the KZN South Coast has to offer... and where we were based was just perfect! We made the most of the downtime and it was amazing to reconnect with the ocean. But we were stoked to get back on the road again, destination Manteku in the Transkei. Now you may recall that this was a Manteku Take Two - in Season Two we abandoned our plans when bad weather and a destroyed awning saw us reroute completely - so understandably we were anxious to get this voodoo off our back! And what a dramatic arrival - wow - seeing that bay revealed and the drop down into Pondo Beach Camps set up at Manteku - just spectacular and well worth our perseverance! It was smiles and stoke all round...and we have 3 nights at this incredible place! Life is good....
