SWB 4x4 Challenge - Defender 90 vs JK Wrangler

Land Rover vs Jeep - Battle of the short wheel base four wheel drives. In this 4x4 video we have a Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door Rubicon up against a Land Rover Defender 90 Puma. An even match up as both 4x4 vehicles are running 35 inch tyres and twin locked. The Rubicon has factory electric lockers while the Defender is running Harrop e-lockers. The Land Rover Defender is running after market diff gears 4.37 ratio while the Jeep Wrangler is running standard 4.11 ratio. The Defender 90 is rolling on Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tyres while the Jeep JK is on the cheapish Comfossor Tyres. This is a close comparison on paper with the slight advantage to the Land Rover Defender due to the lower diff gears and better mud terrain tyres. The other factor that needs to be mentioned is the drivers experience. The Jeep driver is more experienced in this sort of terrain and as such the harder lines were taken to even that out.
