Waking Up Wally | 1972 Chevy K20 Wiring Kit Install, Torque Converter Swap & Test Drive

In this Cole Brothers Customs video, we’re pulling Wally, our 1972 Chevy K20 truck, out of storage and getting started on a round of upgrades to bring him back to life. Dave shares the story of Wally, where the truck came from, what it means to him, and what needs to be done to get this classic Chevy K20 back on the road. The guys pull the motor to swap in a different torque converter, rewire the truck using an American Autowire wiring kit, install new carpet, add a RetroSound radio, and put in new speakers. After the upgrades, Wally starts up for the first time and heads out for a test drive. Follow along with Cole Brothers Customs for more classic Chevy truck projects, squarebody builds, garage work, old truck upgrades, and family-built custom projects.
