A large explosion and flames can be seen rising high in amateur footage captured by residents not far from the location. It is not known exactly when the attack occurred, but the video circulated on social media on Sunday afternoon (June 21, 2026). The narrative circulating on the account X even stated that the attack targeted a safe location used by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This narrative was then accompanied by rumors that Zelensky was killed in the attack. However, these rumors have not been confirmed and are not yet known to be true. On Saturday (June 20, 2026), Zelensky himself warned his citizens that Russia was preparing a new major attack on Ukrainian territory. In his evening address, Zelensky urged citizens to increase their vigilance and heed any airstrike warnings issued by local authorities.
