The history of Kone
The history of Kone in the UK Kone started making lifts in the UK in 1979 when they took over Marryat Scott. 1980s - Kone made some nice old style lifts. The traction ones have nice sounding DC motors. 1990s - In 1996 Kone started making their first ecodiscs. These are very nice lifts. Kone also made a new design of lift for mid and high rise. 2000s and present day - Kone now make some very nice ecodiscs. The MRL ones normally go 1m/s but some go 2.5m/s. also the non-MRL ones can go upto 17m/s!!!! http://beno.org.uk
