Hello, I'm Shibasaki. In this video, I’m sketching a scenery at a fishing port, featuring large fishing boats pulled up onto the land. "Do not paint white objects white." It might take a bit of courage, but by adjusting the relationship with the surrounding colors, the object will appear to shine brightly as white in your painting. In this piece, I’ve intentionally left a large open space in the foreground to draw the viewer's eye deep into the scenery. I’ve also packed in some playful watercolor techniques, like splattering and scraping off paint.
