In this video, I have explained step-by-step how students studying in Russia can obtain a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) in 2026. 👨🏼‍🎓🏫TRP (RVPO) Application Process for Indian Students in Russia: 📌Step 1: Apply for the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) Before applying for TRP, you must first obtain a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from the Indian Embassy. 🔗Link: https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/... Create an account Create an account on the Indian Embassy website. Apply for a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Fill in the application carefully Enter all details exactly as they appear in your passport. When you reach "Purpose of PCC", you will not find an option for TRP. Select "Other" and manually enter: Temporary Resident Permit for Education. Complete the remaining details and submit the application. Police Verification After submitting the application, you must wait for police verification in India. The processing time depends on your local police station. Usually, it takes up to 15 days. Once the police verification is completed, visit the Indian Embassy between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to collect your PCC if it is ready. Documents required when submitting the PCC application at the Embassy: Printed PCC application Passport photocopy (front and back) Migration card copy Registration copy 2300 Rubles (Cash only) Document submission timing: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM After 12:30 PM, submissions are not accepted. Important: Once the PCC is issued, it is valid for only 3 months. 📌Step 2: Translate and Notarize the Documents After receiving the PCC: Translate the PCC into Russian and get it notarized. Also translate and notarize your entire passport. Approximate cost: 3000 Rubles The translation and notarization usually take about 1 hour. 📌Step 3: Legalize the PCC After the translation and notarization are completed: Take the original PCC to a My Documents (Мои Документы) center. Request legalization of the PCC. Processing time: Around 6 days. Note: Only selected My Documents offices provide legalization services. 📌Step 4: Keep Your Medical Examination Valid Before your appointment, make sure your medical certificates are still valid. You should have all three required medical certificates. 📌Step 5: Collect Documents from Your University Inform your university that you are applying for a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP/RVPO). The university will issue the required documents. These university documents are valid for only one month, so collect them close to your appointment date. 📌Step 6: Pay the Government Fee The bank account details can be obtained from: Pay the TRP application fee: 1920 Rubles The Ministry of Migration website, or The International Office/Visa Department of your university. 📌Step 7: Fill the RVPO Application Form Complete the RVPO (TRP) application form carefully. 🔗Link: https://share.google/SMA3CxHbW47Wa7tRH 📌Step 8: Book Your Appointment Online Create an account on the Ministry of Migration website. Search for: TRP / RVPO Upload all the required documents online.
