Anglesey, Wales | Ynys Môn | Ancient History & Spectacular Beaches

Anglesey Part 1: I spent a couple of days on the island of Anglesey (Ynys Môn in Welsh). Anglesey is situated off the north west coast of Wales and has a population of 70,000 people. More than half of the population are Welsh speakers. The island is steeped in history and there are many historic sites to visit. As we only had a couple of days here, we concentrated on the eastern half of the island. We will return to make a Part 2 video showing the western half. Note that I am not a native Welsh speaker and therefore my pronunciation of the Welsh placenames is not likely to be perfect!
