After losing her family, Sadhana, who lives with Ragini's family, becomes a teacher for Alekh, the mentally disabled son of the Rajvansh family. Alekh's mother, Vasundhara, seeing her son's condition improving day by day, gains more trust in Sadhana and asks her to marry Alekh. Despite her hesitations, Sadhana agrees to the marriage to avoid upsetting Vasundhara. Meanwhile, Ranvir, the family's son who was studying in America for his university education, returns home after graduation and meets Sadhana's sister, Ragini, during his brother's wedding preparations.
