In Addis Ababa, Sophie sets out to discover a people with legendary endurance who have survived the centuries by running. Like Gebregziabher Gebremariam, one of Africa's great marathon runners, who peacefully runs his 27 kilometers every morning. For others, endurance is a necessity, as for these women who carry up to 40 kilos of wood for dozens of kilometers to sell to a population that cooks only with charcoal. The Guragé ethnic group lives in southwest Ethiopia, in the heart of a very fertile rural area. This tribe is distinguished by its incredible hospitality and agricultural work. Sophie discovers the traditions of Abyssinian banana farmers. Its edible root, which can weigh up to 40 kg, is a staple food for more than 10 million people, even in times of drought.
