Электроника МК-85 - советский карманный компьютер
In this video, I'll tell you about the Soviet pocket computer (or microcomputer, as it was then called in manuals and print) Elektronika MK-85. The device was developed at the Scientific Research Institute of TT in Zelenograd in 1986 and was manufactured at the Angstrom plant until the early 2000s. Externally, as was often the case with Soviet technology, the device was copied from the Japanese Casio FX-700P calculator, but the internals (software and hardware) were developed from scratch by Soviet engineers. Overall, it's an unexpectedly interesting device with a remarkable history.
