Went crazy with the Slice ability in this one. It's a really easy ability to build into since it has good upgrades and there's a ton of melee stuff from upgrades. Slicer (and probably Falconer too) are probably the reason why there can only be one of each Reclaimer in a mission, and I can think of two reasons why: First, four slicers would wipe the floor with anything that dares to spawn, given that his Slice ability just does so much damage even at base strength; and two, you would have multiple people fighting over the same melee perks. Upgrades of one type (melee, gun, elemental, etc.) are generally better when condensed onto the Reclaimer that can use them the best, which is why I think it's healthier for the game in the long run for people playing together to have varying builds/playstyles. Random stuff: 1. You can double up on enemy spawns by starting the expenite transmutator event right as a natural swarm spawns. More enemies = more expenite from the event. I did this on the first floor and got 4 upgrades from the crystal once it finished. This is risky though, don't do it if you can't handle the extra spawns! 2. The Gootorak boss has a REALLY strong kick attack if you get too close, which caused me to do a super strong explosion from Ticking Bomb, which in turn left behind a really strong Aftermath. You can actually reflect this kick with the Counter upgrade (1:04:52), but it doesn't do very much damage. I got a little cocky with how much damage I was dealing and ended up going down a couple of times during that fight, but I still managed to close it out. 3. I'm not sure why, but sometimes when I hit a critical with the Bulldog, then the resulting damage number would be white instead of the normal reddish-orange. 4. The Ram Rail event takes a little longer than most events, at about 1 minute and 30 seconds if you don't leave the zone at all. Add in riding the hammer back, collecting the crystal, and going back along the rail to leave and you're looking at about a 2 minute commitment. Plan accordingly. 5. The Reach biobooster upgrade from Guardian's deck is much better than it sounds when you look at the math. For example, the explosion from Ticking Bomb has a radius of 6m, which would give the explosion a total area of about 113 m^2. Reach bumps that radius up to 7.2m, which increases the total area to ~163 m^2; or around 44% more area covered. TLDR; bigger explosions, bigger rewards. 6. I feel like I've hardly seen the Blaze Charge upgrade until this run where I got two of them. Thanks for watching! Going to try to get a Retcon video out soon.
