We finally arrive at the famous tardigrades! Members of phylum Tardigrada include the water bears that have been made famous in popular culture due to their extreme resilience. Despite how they are depicted in cartoons, they are Ecdysozoans, and thus closely related to arthropods like insects, so let's get a closer look at their morphology and characteristics.
