let's talk about being mixed race...

this week's episode is a little different. i've never properly spoken about my experience growing up mixed race, how it's shaped my identity, or why representation has become so important to me. after reading your comments, it felt like the right time to finally have this conversation. we talk about growing up in newcastle, love island, representation, race, belonging, black identity, my books, and why i want to create more opportunities for young people to see themselves in the industries they dream of joining. it's probably the most personal episode i've recorded so far, and i hope it starts an honest conversation.
