A grand Iftar and Doa Mahfil of Shilpi Samiti was held on 22nd April 2022 at Magbazar Convention Center organized by Bangladesh Film Artists Association. Shabnam, the oldest film artist of this country came. He expressed regret over the current plight of the film. In a written statement before the Iftar ceremony, Shabnam said, "I am indebted to the people of the cinema for the love I have received after so many years, even though there are many unfulfilled things in my life." Mahmoud Kali also came. After leaving the film, he usually does not go to any film events. Mahmud, while being the president of Kali Shilpi Samiti, gave a constitution to this association. Bapparaj had announced that he would not enter the FDC again. Although he contested in the last election of Shilpi Samiti 'Namka Waste', he was not seen within the boundaries of FDC. Moushumi, Omar Chani, Poppy, Javed, Dolly Chowdhury, Sucharita, Rozina, Aruna Biswas, Dipzal, Bobby, Apu Biswas, Mahiya Mahi, Moonmoon, Aanchal and other selected actors of the committee Joy Chowdhury were not present. Many of these artists are abroad. The members of the newly elected committee of the association have supervised the organization of Iftar. Elias Kanchan, Nipun, Ferdous, Riaz, Simon, Keya, Shahnoor, Arman, Jadu Azad and others did not leave any stone unturned. They went to the table to find out if anyone was missing anything. The Tara Mela was held at the Maghbazar Convention Center on Friday (April 22) centering on Iftar. Everyone has met with everyone present on the occasion of Iftar.
