The Cape Breton Summertime Revue 1986-1995 (Part 2)

PART 1 :    • The Cape Breton Summertime Revue 1986-1995...   Highlights from the first decade of Atlantic Canada's incredibly successful touring music and comedy stage production. Building on the success of The Rise & Follies of Cape Breton Island (1977, 1980, 1981 and 1985) the Revue quickly established a Maritime touring circuit including the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium in Halifax where it played as many as 10 sold-out shows a year. Eventually it toured Canada from coast to coast, playing and filling many of the country's most prestigious soft-seaters including the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. The show was staged annually from 1986 until 1998, revived as a "reunion" production in 2010 and 2011, and remounted in 2015 at Glace Bay's Savoy Theatre as "The Cape Breton Summertime Revue: The Next Generation" featuring many new, young faces in the cast. The special guest star was Heather Rankin and the show was directed by Revue veteran Maynard Morrison.
