Here is a handy acronym to help you remember the key things to look at: W.O.B.B.L.E. W: Water filters/sea strainers, coolant water O: Oil levels in your engine, check that it’s in the proper range B: Belts, check for correct tension and any damage B: Bilge condition, look for water or oil that shouldn’t be there L: Levels (water, engine oil and gearbox) E: Engine exhaust, check for water flow from the exhaust
