Battletech Mini Painting: Canned Heat Mercenary
Welcome back to The Painted Topher! In this video, we're painting a 'Mech from one of the most unique and fiery mercenary groups in the Inner Sphere: Canned Heat. This group has a fantastic backstory, from their origins as a defense force to their reputation as true warrior-mercenaries. I'll share some of their lore while I paint this miniature. For this project, I used a makeup sponge to create a worn, battle-damaged look on the black armor. It's a quick and effective technique that gives the 'Mech a realistic feel.
