In this episode, we travel through the beautiful Ionian islands, starting in Athens before sailing to Spetses and Hydra. You will experience the Spetses Yacht Regatta and visit the Posidonion Grand Hotel, a landmark built in 1914. The journey continues with a visit to the home of the world’s first female admiral, Bubulina, who fought in the Greek War of Independence, and meet her direct descendant. We then sail to the unique island of Hydra, a place with no cars, where mules and horses are the only transport. The island’s 200-year-old architecture is protected by law.
