Honda CB650R (2019) - new crankcase cover
Tired of looking daily at a scratched right side engine casing on my commuting bike, I decided to purchase a brand new engine casing from Honda and substitute it onto my 2019 CB650R. It was a comparatively inexpensive process (parts and materials cost around AUD $120) and relatively straightforward mechanically, provided a few principles are followed. In this video, I document the successful replacement of this right side engine casing (or crankcase cover), and suggest some important steps to take and pitfalls to avoid. I hope it may be useful to others.
