The first independent private Arabic channel in the country, Hala TV, won the tender to operate the independent commercial Arabic channel. Hala TV is the first private Arabic channel broadcasting its programs on the Amos satellite and via the HOT and Yes channels within the country. To watch the channel via the Amos satellite, select the free-to-air (FTA) channels and enter the following frequency details: Frequency 11175.5 Vertical FEC 6/5 Symbol Rate: 27500 Or enter 30 on the Yes and HOT channels.
