We extend our gratitude to the musicians who have presented over 2,300 performances and to the 350,000 audience members who have filled the seats. Above all, the first thing we wish to thank is, of course, the very existence of music itself. We were happy within music, we empathized through music, and we communicated through music. To mark the 10th anniversary of its opening, 'EBS Space Gonggam' has selected ten valuable keywords that have led the past 10 years and will continue to lead in the future. Spirit, Climax, Discovery, Shout, Youth, Freedom, Originality, Harmony, Move, Romance. With these ten words, we will complete our performances, communicate with the audience, and resonate with the music. For the month of April, we have curated "Ten Resonances" by inviting musicians who represent each keyword. We hope this will be a festival where everyone finds joy and happiness within the music. Spirit Crying Nut x No Brain The Two Pillars of Joseon Punk! Crying Nut and No Brain. It was the mid-1990s. Two bands appeared like lightning at a small club in Hongdae. Their names were "Crying Peanut" (Crying Nut) and "No Brain" (Brainless). Though somewhat unsophisticated, they played Punk, the symbol of youth and rebellion, and boys and girls began to go wild for these two bands with explosive energy. This marked the beginning of the Hongdae indie scene and was a fierce signal announcing the prelude to the golden age of Punk. You've fallen for me, so let's ride a horse! Since their debut in 1995, Crying Nut has cried ceaselessly through a total of seven studio albums, starting with "Our Nation Vol.1," which introduced indie music to the world. They have produced numerous hit songs, including "Run, Horse, Ride," a song that no one hasn't sung at a karaoke bar, as well as "The Night Has Grown Deep," "Luxembourg," "Isn't It Good," and "Myeongdong Calling." No Brain, who emerged in 1996, showcased a punk style differentiated by the ska punk genre and slightly more Korean-influenced melody lines. They have hit songs such as "You've fallen for me," "That Is Youth," and "Let's Party Like Crazy," and have played a significant role in establishing indie music by appearing in the films "Radio Star" and "The Pleasant Life." Crying Nut and No Brain, the greatest rivals and greatest comrades, take the stage for the first performance of the 10th-anniversary special. The split performance by these two teams, brimming with youth and passion, is expected to be a truly intense "you die, I die" show.
