Jumping Flash! – The First 3D Platformer Ever
Before Crash Bandicoot, before Spyro, and even before Mario 64 — there was Jumping Flash! Released on the original PlayStation in the mid-90s, Jumping Flash! and its sequel Jumping Flash! 2 were among the very first true 3D platformers. Starring the robotic rabbit Robbit, these games combined colorful worlds, high-flying gameplay, and early 3D experimentation in a way few people remember today. In this video, I review both Jumping Flash! and Jumping Flash! 2 to see how they hold up today, their place in gaming history, and why they remain some of PlayStation’s most overlooked classics. 👉 Did you play Jumping Flash! back in the day?
