DIONÍSIO CERQUEIRA:
The official inauguration ceremony for the second phase of asphalt paving on the main road connecting the city to the Jorge Lacerda District was held. The first phase covered a 2.5 km stretch, with an investment of R$ 4,528,071.05, while the second phase covers an additional 3.5 km of asphalt, at a cost of R$ 5,298,500.00, totaling 6 kilometers of paving and approximately R$ 10 million in investment to date. Mayor Bianca Maran, Vice-Mayor Alcir Sawaris, President of the Municipal Legislature Everton Fragozo, and resident and representative of the Jorge Lacerda community, Ivo Wust, spoke with our reporter about the importance of the project.
