God is the theme of my thoughts, the object of my tenderest affection. My mind dwell upon His precious attributes, contemplating the rich promises of His word and the glories of Heaven. (My mind is fixed on the Lord, trusting only in His word..) I search the scriptures diligently to have an understanding of the claims that Christ has upon me and that I may have the right view of the truth. May my will be subdued and brought into harmony with God's will, may the precious light shine upon me so that God may be pleased with my steadfastness.
