Solo Travel in Penang Malaysia | Chew Jetty, Penang Peranakan Mansion & Nasi Kandar (FAILED!)

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my Solo Trip Series — and today we're on Episode 3, my final day exploring Penang, Malaysia. In this episode, I visited several iconic places in Penang: 📍 Chew Jetty — a water village that has existed since the 19th century, with wooden stilt houses and a walkway overlooking the sea. This place is steeped in history and is still inhabited by Hokkien descendants to this day. Visiting Hours: Every day from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm 📍 Pinang Peranakan Mansion — a heritage museum with thousands of Baba Nyonya collections, from gold jewelry and antique furniture to the magnificent interiors of Peranakan aristocratic homes. It feels like stepping into a period drama! Admission: RM 25 Visiting Hours: Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm 🍽️ Nasi Kandar Mission... FAILED 😅 I really wanted to try the legendary, authentic Nasi Kandar from 1930... but unfortunately, the mission wasn't accomplished 😂 This was my last day of solo travel in Penang — and honestly, this trip was full of stories, lessons, and exciting moments.
