Studio One: Adding Reverb on a Bus
Adding reverb in a mix isn't new at all. Artists and engineers have been using reverb since before recording was even a common thing. There are a lot of benefits to adding reverb when you're mixing. It can create a single space for everything to live in, or create a new sense of atmosphere to an otherwise dry sound. When adding reverb to any mix, you have to think about how you want to use that reverb and how many things you want to have that same sound. This video shows how to easily send multiple tracks to a single reverb and the benefits of doing so. We also go over sending from a bus versus sending from channels.
