The Temptation of Jesus — Part One
Given that Jesus was both man and Messiah, was it really possible that He would have yielded to temptation? In this sermon, Alistair Begg explains how the devil aimed his temptations at both of Christ’s dual natures. If he could lure Christ away from doing the Father’s will, he could keep Him from the cross and thereby thwart the way of salvation. Christ, however, would not be dissuaded. Scripture: Luke 4:1 Preached: May 9, 1999 Find more sermons by Alistair Begg at https://www.tfl.org/sermons
