Exploring Abandoned ,Buried Steam Traction Engines.

In this video we are down in south west Kansas. We will take a look at 3 Tractors that where buried on the banks of the now dried up Cimmaron river. I knew where two of these traction engines where but had to look for the Avery. As it was all hearsay on the location. I was really excited to find it. The first tractor in the video is what I believe to be a Rumley, the second is what I believe to be a advanced Rumley steam engine. In the late 1930s the state payed farmers to dump there obsolete farm equipment on the river banks to stop the banks from washing away. Due to these being buried, they survived from being scrapped.
