2022 Lifan KPX 250 - Interstate speeds on a stock Chinese bike

Bike recording has a 14t sprocket and other bike is bone stock. both achieved 75mph per GPS on the phone. 13T to 14T front sprocket change; Went riding with a buddy running stock gearing. Honestly can say there isn't much top end left in these (at least not just because of gearing). It will reduce your revs on the highway, but you're still gonna top out 75-76 mph. I do like first gear now, and will be able to ride around trails in first gear instead of always feeling like I have to shift. Also double checked with phone GPS. Top speed 76. Stock bike kept up without issue. My opinion? Worth it if you are traveling at higher speeds a lot just to keep the rpms down, but not a big game changer for top speed like some of the other Chinese bikes. Now if you can squeeze a few more HP out of this engine this sprocket may be the ticket to a comfy 80 mph ride.
