'26 Volvo XC40 B5 AWD Mild Hybrid Ultra Review

The battle for the hearts and minds of compact SUV buyers rages on, and the battle is a fierce skirmish indeed. Today we have a very slick entry from Volvo in the form of the XC40 AWD Ultra (there's a lot more in the name but I'll skip it for now) that has a 48 volt Mild Hybrid addition to the turbocharged Inline Four. Compact in stature but high on wagon versatility, it's a really unique entry in the class because Volvo just naturally does things differently compared to the competition. Quirky? Yes, but all high on safety tech, Google content (if you like that sort of thing) and all the personality that makes the marque popular.
