Sosta gratuita a Malpensa

A parking area inside Malpensa Airport has been open to the public for a few months. This area is intended for parking while waiting to pick up passengers. In fact, to reduce unauthorized parking around the airport and especially on the highway, SEA has opened this area (semi-abandoned until now) to allow cars to safely wait. Parking is free for up to one hour. You cannot leave the area; you can get out of your car and stay nearby, but without leaving the area. Therefore, it is not possible to take the shuttle bus, for example, and abandon your vehicle (even if you return within an hour). It is not easy to reach, especially for those who are new to Malpensa. I always recommend not arriving at the airport early, but leaving home or traveling close to landing time; even better, arriving at the airport after the plane has landed. Often, once the plane has landed, it can take the passenger between 20 and 45 minutes to leave the airport depending on baggage drop-off, for example, or passport control if arriving from outside the EU.
