It is possible to make a shawl using only these instructions - simply repeat the Increase Rows until the shawl is the size you desire and then bind-off. The yarn I used for knitting is The Fiber Seed Sprout DK in Coral and the tiny shawl sample is in The Fiber Seed Sprout Sock in Arizona Dusk. For more information on their yarn check out their website: https://www.thefiberseed.com/ Weigh and record how much your yarn weighs before you get started. Cast on 3 sts using the Long Tail Cast-on. Set up Row 1: k1, kfb, s1-wyif (4 sts) Set up Row 2: k3, s1-wyif Set up Row 3: knit to last 2 sts, kfb, s1-wyif (1 st inc) Set up Row 4: knit to last 3 sts, p1, k1, s1-wyif Set up Rows 5 through 8 - repeat Rows 3 & 4 twice Shawl Increase Section Row 1: knit to last 2 sts, kfb, s1-wyif (1 st inc) Row 2: k2, *p1, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, p1, k1, s1-wyif Row 3: knit to last 2 sts, kfb, s1-wyif (1 st inc) Row 4: k3, *p1, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, p1, k1, s1-wyif Row 5: knit to last 2 sts, kfb, s1-wyif (1 st inc) Row 6: k4, *p1, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, p1, k1, s1-wyif Repeat Rows 1 - 6 until you have used up just a little less than half the weight of your yarn. End on a Row 6.
