This is the full version of our 10 day backcountry canoe trip in Temagami. We set out to hike both Maple Mountain and Ishpatina Ridge in one camping trip but the difficult portages through Solace had other plans for us. We start our journey on the Sturgeon River but this time on a section without any whitewater. After passing through Solace Provincial Park and making it to Florence Lake we knew our route had to change, so we made a detour and ended up at a beautiful campsite overlooking a waterfalls. Which was just the start of the epic campsites we would end up staying on.
