WLTOYS 144001 Brushless Conversion | 4s Speed Run!

Hi guys and welcome back to the channel! This will be the final video on the 144001 series for a little while so that i can concentrate on some new ideas for the channel. Last time on 3s we hit 54mph which again is a great speed to achieve out of such a small and lightweight buggy (1/14th Scale) in this speed run we are running: Racestar 3300kv Motor: https://www.banggood.com/Racerstar-F5... Guys this is just a bit of fun i dont intend to run this setup daily if anything i think i will run a higher KV motor and 60a ESC with 2s-3s pack running on 4s was just to see what we could achieve! I am aware of many people doing this conversion and some even reaching speeds in excess of 100mph but this requires a lot more time, effort and sometimes custom work so my videos are aimed at the person looking to upgrade their buggy to get more speed and performance out of it. Some have spent 5x or more the cost of the buggy to reach these insane speeds which sort of defeats the reason for buying a budget model in the first place. I am not looking to set any records but i think the current record for these is sitting at 105mph. I doubt i will ever aim for that maybe 70mph with adjusted gearing and moved up to a higher KV Motor. The motor mounts on these buggies do not allow you to be flexible when it comes to pinion choice so because the holes are pre drilled you are stuck using the stock gearing setup. There are a few issues you will face along the way including the super glued / thread locked pinion grub screw and motor mount screws without heat you will almost certainly strip the heads.
