Factory Sample Review: Athearn GP60 Union Pacific & Norfolk Southern w/Econami DCC & Sound HO Scale

Today we'll take a look at some factory pre-production samples of the upcoming run of HO scale Athearn GP60s! These models have ditch lights (and beacons on other road names) for the first time from Athearn, and look great! We have a Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern model to review, which have their own road-specific details too. They performed well in my testing, and have some additional details in the box to help add to the model if desired. These GP60s were announced in July of 2023, and will start to deliver in May 2026.
