Gimhae Airport is a joint airport with the South Korean military, and it is illegal to photograph the airport or surrounding facilities from above after takeoff without permission. However, when photography is truly prohibited (e.g., for state secrets or VIP visits), the window shades are closed during takeoff and landing, making it physically impossible to photograph.
