2020 SEASON - Episode 3 Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas, Bottomfishing Bonanza!

George Poveromo and Carl Grassi keep the rods bending along the reefs behind the Green Turtle Club & Marina. The local reef fishing can be outstanding, as they go on to prove. After identifying a stretch of reef alive with bait and fish on the Simrad evo 3 sonar, they establish drifts between 60 and 200 feet. Using long-leader mutton rigs, ballyhoo-tipped deep jigs, knocker rigs and Williamson flutter irons, they score strawberry, red, black and yellowfin groupers, scamp, mackerel, yellowtails, gray and mutton snappers!
