Painting a Sunflower: "The Queen of the Castle" | Still Life Art

Long ago, I went to visit some friends because their hen had just hatched some tiny chicks, and I really wanted to see them. On our way to the chicken coop, there stood this fabulous sunflower. I immediately fell in love with it and took several pictures; this painting is based on one of them. I hope you like it! Let me know your thoughts in the comments. In my opinion, sunflowers look so powerful—like the queen of the castle. It's as if they are saying, 'Here I am, strong and powerful.' That is exactly how I see them. Such beautiful flowers.
