MALEFIC GUN vs MALEFIC ROAR (with damage tests)

Before the malefic gun was reworked, it used to require you to hit an enemy with a skill to increase your attack range. Now it PERMANENTLY increases your attack range without any sort of requirement. And instead of 15% lifesteal, it now has 30% physical penetration. The malefic roar used to have 20% physical penetration, and for every 1 physical defense, you gain 0.125% physical penetration. Now, it has 30% physical penetration, and for every 1 physical defense, you gain 0.1% physical penetration. Both "malefic items" have 30% base penetration. One increases your range, your attack speed, and your movement speed. The other further increases your penetration against tanks and tanky fighters. Both are great for marksmen, but ONLY ONE WILL REIGN SUPREME! Which between the two malefic items are more recommended for marksmen? Is it the MALEFIC GUN, or the MALEFIC ROAR? Come say hi!
