Metrobus 5A | One Line Wonder | XPRESS | #WMATA

At long last, my transit series launches, called simply, Xpress. Derived by ‪@hamptonroadstransit2526‬’s 757 Express moniker, Xpress will include transit happenings in DC, VA and beyond. This is also a submission for the One Line Wonder challenge for ‪@ClassyWhale‬. WMATA Metrobus 5A WAS a route that ran daily & hourly from L’Enfant Plaza to Dulles Airport with a couple stops in between. The route was terminated when the Phase II of the Silver Line opened on November 15th, 2022. I’ve recorded this the week before as the route was dying off. I rode this route a few times either for curiosity or legitimately coming from a flight from Dulles Airport.
